The recent ISA arrests of one blogger, one journalist and one politician has gotten me thinking: what is becoming of this country? I wouldn’t want to comment on the arrest of the politician and the (notorious) blogger but a journalist?
This happens to be the same journalist that reported about some idiot politician taunting the “Chinese [...]

Today is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, which coincidentally happens to be a holiday for most people due to National Day falling on a Sunday yesterday. Unfortunately, I’m one of those poor souls who have to work today while others are enjoying their day off.
Reading the papers today would make one [...]

The developments over the past one week has gotten me thinking about the concept of being in charge. By now, many would know that there was an unruly crowd of protesters gathered outside of the Bar Council’s building to oppose the forum that was perceived to be discussing about Islam and conversions. The merits of [...]
Fuel Hike Depression Leading To Recession?

It seems the recent fuel hike is making everyone jittery, to the extent that most people are starting to make immediate knee-jerk reactions like raising prices of goods and services, cutting of expenses, changing of lifestyle habits, etc. Our government can’t seem to be having a handle on this, judging from the wishy-washy decisions they’re [...]

I recently received an email, written by an anonymous writer, that’s been making its rounds everywhere talking about the recent fuel price hike by the Malaysian government. Among the things talked about are:
The price comparisons between countries
The crude oil prices analysis
Subsidies and rebates
Let’s talk about the recent rebates that the Malaysian government announced recently, where [...]
Getting The Message Across

Last Friday’s meeting was true to its nature (and my predictions): it was long, boring and tedious. It started at 9.00 am like it should, and it ended at 7.00 pm as I predicted. Worse still was the fact that my turn to present came at around 6.30 pm! It was a tiring wait, more [...]
Govt’s Belt-tightening Measures

I can’t seem to shake off this nagging feeling that the Government’s belt-tightening measures seem more like lip service than a real effort to save our tax-paying money.
I mean, come on… how do you expect me to believe that cutting their Entertainment Allowance and Paid Annual Vacations is gonna do anything significant? It all seems [...]

Okay, looks like I’m not the only one getting suspicious about the petrol price when I pumped this morning.
I did notice the price written as 270.4 sen which is NOT equivalent to RM2.70, okay?
And it looks like I’m not the only one who noticed.
The Government had better have a DAMN GOOD explanation to us!
The Only Way Is UP!

Congratulations to the government, they’ve just moved their citizen’s lives a notch up towards unbearable levels.
The price of petrol has jumped from RM1.92 a litre to RM2.70 a litre, a jump of 40%! WAH LAO EH… gila kah? This morning, I went to feed my car with it and the bill? RM96.00 as opposed to [...]
